SAGIRO is an independent software application designed to assist individuals and households with record-keeping and expense management. SAGIRO is not a bank, Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), credit institution, payment gateway, depository, or registered investment advisory firm under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

SAGIRO does not accept deposits, issue credit, manage portfolios, facilitate banking transactions, or provide securities recommendations.

2. Safe Today™ & Daily Spend Guidance

The Safe Today™ gauge provides mathematical pacing guidance calculated as:

Safe Daily Limit = (Remaining Monthly Budget) ÷ (Remaining Days in Billing Cycle)

This calculation is strictly for informational planning. It does not account for unexpected future emergencies, unbilled bank fees, interest charges, offline cash commitments, or non-recorded financial obligations.

3. Money Brain™ Informational Summaries

Money Brain generates descriptive summaries and answers queries based strictly on the transactions recorded in your local device database.

Money Brain is not a certified financial planner, tax consultant, or investment advisor. Responses generated by Money Brain must not be interpreted as financial advice, tax filing instructions, or wealth management guidance.

4. Automated SMS Parsing & Heuristic Approximations

Automatic transaction extraction from bank SMS relies on heuristic pattern recognition. Due to varying SMS formats across different financial institutions and telecom providers, parsed amounts, merchant names, dates, or account links may contain errors, duplicate entries, or omissions.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming all entries against your official bank statements and passbooks.

5. Third-Party Lookup Services

SAGIRO references public third-party APIs for specific non-financial features (such as Razorpay IFSC API for branch lookups and Frankfurter API for currency rates). While we strive for accuracy, SAGIRO cannot guarantee the uninterrupted availability or absolute timeliness of third-party datasets.
